isoprime precisION IRMS

isoprime precisION forms the core of your system, a starting point from which to grow your research. Maximize the possible analyses with your system by choosing any combination of inlet systems, and automatically switch between them using the centrION Continuous Flow Interface System, which is incorporated into the instrument.

Novel Inlet Control Module

Perhaps your research topic demands something different? Then you can interface isoprime precisION with your bespoke experimental system with the revolutionary Novel Inlet Control Module (NICM), which offers substantial control of additional I/O with the elegant Method Workflow Designer. Adding multi-collector arrays with bespoke amplification resistor configurations will drive your experiment even further.

Inlet Systems

We offer a broad portfolio of peripheral inlet systems designed specifically for stable isotope analysis. The choice of inlet system depends on your experimental requirements, but whichever inlet you choose, you can be sure that your samples are handled exactly and faithfully with absolutely no isotope fractionation. Complete automation and switching makes isoprime precisION the most dynamic and flexible stable isotope mass spectrometer ever created.

Elemental analysis

Conversion of bulk organics and inorganics in solid and liquid sample matrices into pure gases, prior to isotope analysis.

Chromatography

Column separation of complex organic mixtures using GC and LC techniques and converted into sample gases in real time.

Headspace

Preparation, separation and analysis of air, breath, liquid and carbonate samples, prepared into septum-sealed vials.

  • isoprime precisION is the most compact fully functional isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS) on the market, with a unique electrostatic filter for the isobaric separation of ²H-H and ³He isotopes. This allows the system to be almost 50 % smaller than any other IRMS, making it ideal for space-limited laboratories.
  • Its benchtop design and integrated centrION continuous flow interface ensure easy operation without compromising on flexibility or performance.
