Technical specifications
High-temperature combustion unit
Quantitative sample digestion at up to 1,200 °C, or 1,800 °C at the point of combustion when tin foil is used, with a ten-year furnace warranty. This is the prerequisite for 100 % recovery, even when dealing with samples that are difficult to combust - jet injection of oxygen directly to the sample leads to the highest oxygen concentrations at the point of combustion, as well as low gas consumption.
Detector
- Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD)
- Infrared Detector* for sulfur and oxygen
- Electrochemical Detector* for chlorine
Instrument control
Windows® based vario MACRO cube operating software with LIMS integration and auto sleep and wake-up function for automated and unattended overnight operation. 21 CFR Part 11 functionality available.*
Required gases
Helium and oxygen
Advanced Purge and Trap (APT) technology
Separation of gaseous components on up to three specific columns for perfect separation without overlap, and automatic optimization of the analysis time.
Sample introduction
Integrated 60, 80*, or 120* positions autosampler (for solids and liquids in capsules), reloadable during analysis
Maximum furnace temperature
1,200 ° C (whereby 1,800 °C is briefly reached at the combustion point when using tin foil)
Dimensions
48 x 55 x 57 cm (W x D x H)
* optionally available
Accessories
Electronic balance
Balance and elemental analyzer form a system. We offer analytical balances from the leading manufacturers with our instruments. Please ask us for further information.
Capsule sealing press
Tool for the exact dosing and gas-tight sealing of tin or silver capsules, for liquid and sensitive samples.
Sample former and pressing tools
For simplified sample preparation, we offer a manual tool for compressing samples in tin foil or cups, and a mechanical press for the preparation of pellets with paper wrapping.
Unmatched analytical performance:
Limit of detection (LOD) of 10 ppm or < 15 μg C
- The soli TOC® cube is the most sensitive instrument in the market and offers an unmatched measurement range from 0.001 – 100 % carbon.
- Reproducible measurements due to precise adjustable temperature with fast heating rates. Temperature is measured where it matters, directly at the crucible.
- Consistent high measurement quality thanks to the use of a post-combustion catalyst. This ensures that even high carbon-content samples are quantitatively oxidized.
- Optimized separation of residual organic carbon (ROC) and total inorganic carbon (TIC) for special samples thanks to integrated carrier gas switching.
Fast & easy analyses: Autosampler for 24/7 operation & automated ash removal
- Autosampler with 89 positions, optimized for unattended 24/7 high-throughput operation.
- Minimized efforts for sample preparation due to the advanced temperature ramping and the crucible technology.
- Automated ash removal and clearly arranged, easily accessible system components minimize maintenance efforts.
Einfachste Probenvorbereitung: Minimierter Aufwand dank Tiegeltechnologie

Nutzerfreundliche Wartung: Komfortabel & werkzeuglos
